Sometimes words fail to express the impact of the action. He gave...just kind of sits there. We don’t really see the behind the scenes here so let’s bring it together. What happened in the “giving”? God became man. Paul writes to the Philippians about this as:

have the same mindset as Christ Jesus:

“ Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
⁷ rather, he made himself nothing
by taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
⁸ And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
by becoming obedient to death—
even death on a cross!

Philippians 2: 5 - 8

God gave up his throne, his authority, his life! And gave us eternity... People say you can't out give God. What an understatement!

Meditate on the giving God.
